ABS DWV Expansion Joint (HUB x SPG)
The ABS-DWV Expansion Joint (HUB x SPG) is designed to manage thermal expansion and contraction in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. Featuring a hub connection on one end and a spigot connection on the other, this flexible fitting allows for movement and prevents stress or cracking in the piping. It meets ASTM D2661, CSA B181.1, and NSF Standard 14 for durable, long-lasting performance.
Not intended for transporting compressed air or gas and should not be used for pressure testing. Suitable for applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 140°F. Installations should be protected from incompatible chemicals, fire-stopping materials, and thread sealants that may damage ABS compounds.
