Stargrip® Series 3000 Mechanical Joint Wedge Action Restraint

The Stargrip® Series 3000 is a heavy-duty mechanical joint restraint system designed specifically for ductile iron pipe. Engineered for reliability and ease of installation, this wedge action restraint provides superior joint security by mechanically locking the pipe in place using high-strength ductile iron wedges that grip the pipe's surface.

Compatible with AWWA C111/A21.11 mechanical joint fittings, the Series 3000 is ideal for both buried and above-ground water transmission systems. The restraint is field-adjustable, eliminates the need for thrust blocks, and is coated with a fusion-bonded epoxy for added corrosion resistance.
