Merit Brass Price Update

As you may be aware, the Administration has imposed an additional 25% tariff on steel and aluminum products and their derivatives, effective June 4, 2025. This new tariff is in addition to the existing Section 232 tariffs and has created a significant 
and immediate cost impact on affected materials.


As a result, Merit Brass will be implementing a price adjustment across the following product categories effective June 9th, 2025:

  • Stainless Steel Nipples
  • Stainless Steel ANSI Flanges
  • Stainless Buttweld Fittings
  • Stainless Steel 150# Fittings
  • Stainless Steel 1000# Fittings
  • Stainless Steel 3000# Fittings
  • Forged Carbon Steel Fittings
  • Aluminum Nipples
