Description
ABS DWV Polyethylene Test Cap
The ABS-DWV Polyethylene Test Cap is designed to temporarily seal ABS pipe ends for testing drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Made from durable polyethylene, this non-pressure cap provides a tight fit to prevent leaks during system pressure or water testing. It meets ASTM D2661, CSA B181.1, and NSF Standard 14 for reliable performance and compatibility with ABS piping.
Not intended for transporting compressed air or gas and should not be used for permanent sealing. Suitable for applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 140°F. Installations should be protected from incompatible chemicals and other agents that may damage ABS or polyethylene materials.
