The Bulk Blowdown Silencer Conversion Kit 8406-000-65 from Schmidt / Axxiom is a field-installable retrofit designed to significantly improve safety and reduce noise during pressure-vessel blowdown operations. Ideal for bulk abrasive blasting vessels that need controlled depressurization, this kit features a Controlled Expansion Nozzle (CEN) that slows and regulates exhaust reducing blowdown noise to ~92 dB and preventing frost buildup that can cause hazardous pressure retention.
