MSA OptimAir® Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Assembly
The MSA OptimAir® Powered Air-Purifying Respirator Assembly is a compact, lightweight, mask-mounted PAPR respiratory protection system designed to deliver filtered air to the wearer in environments with hazardous particulates. It uses a high-efficiency HEPA-class OptiFilter® XL cartridge and is powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery that provides up to ~8 hours of continuous use. This assembly is NIOSH-approved and intended for use with MSA facepieces including Advantage®, Ultravue® or Ultra Elite® models.
