The Clemco CMS-4 CO Monitor-Alarm Instrument (SKU 29766) is a specialized in-helmet carbon monoxide monitor and alarm designed to safeguard operators using supplied-air respirators in abrasive blasting and industrial environments. This compact and rugged instrument attaches inside the respirator helmet and continuously samples breathing air for the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) an odorless, colorless, and deadly gas that can contaminate compressed air supplies. Upon detecting CO levels at or above safety thresholds, the unit immediately alerts the user with visual, audible, and vibratory alarms, helping protect lives by prompting quick action.
