Merchant Steel Black Half Pipe Couplings
Merchant steel black half pipe couplings are short pipe fittings made from ungalvanized carbon steel, often sandblasted or oiled to enhance corrosion resistance. They are threaded on one end to connect to a threaded pipe and have a square, threadless end for welding to a flat surface, such as a metal tank, to create a threaded outlet. These fittings are designed for use with Schedule 40 steel pipe and conform to ASTM A865 and ANSI B1.20.1 standards.
