ABS DWV Expansion Joint (HUB x HUB)
The ABS-DWV Expansion Joint (HUB x HUB) is designed to absorb thermal expansion and contraction in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. Featuring two hub connections, this flexible fitting helps prevent stress and damage to piping by accommodating movement within the system. It meets ASTM D2661, CSA B181.1, and NSF Standard 14 for reliable performance and durability.
Not intended for transporting compressed air or gas and should not be used for pressure testing. Suitable for applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 140°F. Installations should be protected from incompatible chemicals, fire-stopping materials, and thread sealants that may damage ABS compounds.
