Stainless Steel Type "A" Stub End MSS Welded
Type A – Type “A” Stub Ends are for use with standard Lap Joint Flanges. The Lap thickness on the Stub End is greater than, or equal to, the nominal thickness of the pipe wall.
This Stainless Steel Weld Type "A" Stub End is available in 304 and 316 stainless steel and manufactured to MSS SP-43 standards for use with lap joint flanges in low- to medium-pressure piping systems. Designed with a butt-weld connection and a flared end for flange mating, this fitting provides a corrosion-resistant, easily replaceable sealing surface. Offered in Schedule 10 and Schedule 40, it suits a range of flow and pressure applications. Use 304 stainless steel for general service or 316 for enhanced performance in corrosive or sanitary environments.
