Choose the Correct Fit
Match the 7/16-inch hex shank to a compatible quick-connect chuck. Check that the socket uses a 1/2-inch square drive.
Lock the shank into the chuck and engage the pin detent with the socket. Check retention before bringing the tool to the hardware.
Installation & Care
Keep the tool and socket aligned with the fastener. The adapter changes the interface and does not increase the tool’s capacity.
Inspect the pin, shank and square drive before use. Remove debris and replace an adapter that is cracked, twisted or unable to retain the socket.
