Choose the Correct Fit
Confirm the vacuum drill bit uses the SDS Max adapter before ordering. This part connects the extraction hose; it does not convert an ordinary solid drill bit.
The specifications above describe the connected extraction system requirements. Use a hose at least 1-1/4 inches in diameter and no longer than 16 feet 5 inches.
Installation & Care
Milwaukee also specifies at least 92 inches of water lift. Check the extractor manual for airflow, power, filtration and pressure before use.
Keep the bit and adapter clear of debris. Do not wash with water or drill in wet areas; follow the vacuum bit instructions for dry cleaning and safe setup.

Important Product Questions
Can I use the vacuum bit system in wet areas?
No. Milwaukee says not to drill in water or wet areas. If the bit gets wet, stop and let it dry thoroughly; concrete must be properly cured before drilling.
What should I check if dust escapes while drilling?
Remove the bit from the work surface and check for a clog. Confirm the hose connection and extractor setup before restarting; Milwaukee requires at least 92 inches of water lift in addition to the listed airflow and filtration.
How should debris be cleared?
Milwaukee allows a screwdriver or compressed air to clear debris and says not to clean with water. Follow the bit instructions and wear the required eye and respiratory protection.
