Important Product Questions
Can I cut hardened screws or steel cable?
Verify the exact material, diameter and hardness rating before cutting. A tool described for wire does not automatically cover every screw, steel cable or hardened fastener.
Are covered grips enough for electrical work?
Grip covering is not proof of an insulation rating. De-energize and verify the circuit, and follow the required electrical-safety procedure.
Can the thread cleaner repair damaged threads?
Use it to hold and clean compatible threaded hardware. Replace structurally damaged fasteners or use a suitable thread-restoring tool when repair is permitted.
