Schedule 40 316/316L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe provides corrosion-resistant piping for commercial and industrial systems where the properties of 316/316L stainless steel are required. Manufactured to ASTM A312 / ASME SA312, this seamless pipe is supplied in full 20-foot lengths.
Schedule 40 has a thicker wall than Schedule 10 stainless steel pipe of the same nominal size. Its seamless construction eliminates the longitudinal weld seam found in welded pipe, while the pipe can be welded to compatible fittings and additional lengths to create strong, permanent piping connections. 316/316L stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance for compatible applications.
