Pro-Flex HearthMaster Angle Keyed Gas Valve & Log Lighter Kits combine a fireplace keyed gas valve assembly with a log lighter bar for starting wood-burning fireplace fires. Choose the required Natural Gas or LP / Propane configuration and select from Chrome, Black, or Brushed Nickel flange and key finishes.
Each kit combines a HearthMaster angle keyed gas valve with a coordinating plated zinc flange and key plus the appropriate HearthMaster log lighter bar for the selected gas type.

Natural Gas vs. LP / Propane
Natural Gas Kits
PF-953 series kits use the HearthMaster PF-940-10 Natural Gas log lighter. Select this configuration only for a Natural Gas installation.
LP / Propane Kits
PF-956L series kits use the HearthMaster PF-941-L2 LP Gas log lighter. The manufacturer specifies the PF-941-L2 for LP (Propane) Gas applications only.

Installation
Product installation and system testing shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1 (National Fuel Gas Code), applicable state and local codes, and the manufacturer's instructions.
For the PF-941-L2 LP / Propane log lighter, Pro-Flex specifies that a HearthMaster PF-952 or PF-954 series keyed valve must be installed upstream within 6 feet of the log lighter.
