This model is described for ACSR, hard wire and soft wire. Check the exact diameter and hardness limits in its instructions; the tool length is not a cutting-capacity rating.
Does the grip style provide electrical insulation?
Do not infer an insulation rating from comfort or dipped grips. Isolate and verify the circuit before working, and use the protection required by the job’s electrical-safety procedure.
Can the thread cleaner repair stripped threads?
The integrated cleaner is for holding and cleaning suitable threaded hardware. It is not a replacement for a thread-restoring die or for replacing structurally damaged fasteners.
