Choose the Correct Fit

Check the gap and available swing room before choosing the bar. Use a protective bearing block where surrounding material must be preserved.

Support the component being removed so it cannot fall when nails or joints release. Keep the area clear of loose fasteners.

Installation & Care

Work the beveled claw beneath the edge and apply gradual leverage. Keep hands away from closing joints and do not add a pipe extension.

Clean the claws and slots after demolition. Inspect for cracks, bent edges or a damaged grip before reuse.

Important Product Questions

What gives the bar leverage?

The shepherd’s-hook head provides a curved bearing point for prying and nail removal.

Are the claws hardened?

Yes. The claws are induction hardened to help maintain their working edges.

Can it pry against a finished surface?

Use a suitable protective block and gradual pressure. Sharp steel claws and the bearing point can damage an unprotected finish.
