Choose the Correct Fit
Confirm the Spline hammer connection, accessory diameter and 12-1/2 in extension length against the job.
Use the matching MAX-LOK connection adapter. The extension alone does not make a complete coupling.
Installation & Care
Disconnect power before assembly. Follow the coupling’s lubrication and locking instructions, then check every connection.
Support and control the longer setup as instructed by the hammer manufacturer. Inspect the shanks and locking sleeves after use.

Important Product Questions
Is the connection coupling included?
The connection adapter is sold separately. Assemble the extension with the correct MAX-LOK coupling before attaching an SDS-Max drill or core bit.
Can this make a small hammer suitable for any core size?
No. Matching the connections does not increase the hammer’s rated capacity. Check the bit diameter and complete assembly against the tool’s limits.
Does the extension length equal the hole depth?
No. The working reach depends on the bit, extension and coupling. Also allow for connection engagement and the bit’s usable cutting length.
