ARGCO’s Model 502 Galvanized Fire Outlet Tee provides a direct branch connection at any location along carbon steel pipe where a hole can be cut or drilled. Designed for efficient installation, it eliminates the need for welding while maintaining full bore flow characteristics.
Available with a female threaded outlet in sizes from 1¼" to 2½" (25 – 76.1 mm), this outlet tee is rated for working pressures up to 300 psi (20 bar) and is ideal for integrating sprinkler system components and auxiliary connections.

Typical Applications
Designed for fire protection systems, the Model 502 outlet tee provides a convenient method for adding branch outlets to existing piping. It is commonly used for connecting sprinklers, drop nipples, sprigs, gauges, drains, and other outlet devices in wet or dry sprinkler systems.
Construction Details
Housing is manufactured from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12, providing strength and durability for fire protection applications.
Standard gasket is Grade E EPDM (Type A), suitable for water and oil-free air service within rated working pressures.
Bolts and nuts are carbon steel meeting ASTM A449 and ASTM A563 Grade B, with zinc electroplated finish per ASTM B633. Optional 316 stainless steel hardware is available.
Important Notes
Installation requires cutting or drilling a hole in the pipe at the desired outlet location; no welding is required.
Product is designed for rigid branch connections and does not allow for axial or angular movement.
Always follow ARGCO installation instructions and ensure compatibility with system pressure and pipe specifications.
Suitable for wet and dry (oil-free air) sprinkler systems within rated working pressures.
