EHSC-RKV200 is specifically identified for the 2" Dixon EHSC-Series Spring Check Valve when FKM replacement elastomers are required.

Dixon offers separate repair-kit part numbers according to valve series, nominal size, and elastomer material. Confirm all three characteristics before selecting a replacement kit.

Although Dixon groups HSC and EHSC replacement kits within the same HSC/EHSC-Series repair-kit family, the EHSC-RKV200 part number should be matched to the appropriate EHSC-Series valve rather than selected solely by its 2" nominal size.

EHSC-RKV200 uses FKM for both supplied replacement sealing components. FKM elastomers are commonly selected for process applications where their particular chemical and temperature-resistance characteristics are appropriate.

Actual material suitability depends on the process media, concentration, operating temperature, cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and other service conditions.

Verify FKM compatibility with the complete process environment before installation, particularly when changing from a different elastomer material.

Dixon HSC/EHSC spring check valves are serviceable valve assemblies with replaceable sealing components. Routine inspection and maintenance can help identify worn elastomers and other internal components before they affect valve operation.

The EHSC-RKV200 provides the body gasket and plunger O-ring used for elastomer replacement on the compatible 2" EHSC configuration.

During valve service, inspect the remaining internal components and sealing surfaces for damage, wear, corrosion, contamination, product buildup, or other conditions that could interfere with proper operation.

If components beyond the supplied body gasket and plunger O-ring require replacement, address those components separately rather than assuming they are included with this kit.

Before ordering, confirm the complete identification of the existing spring check valve. Repair-kit selection should account for the valve series, nominal valve size, and elastomer material.

For a 2" EHSC-Series valve requiring FKM elastomers, EHSC-RKV200 is the corresponding repair-kit configuration.

For a 2" EHSC-Series valve requiring EPDM instead, select the corresponding EHSC-RKE200 repair kit.

A 2" HSC-Series valve uses separate HSC-prefixed repair-kit part numbers. Confirm the valve series from the existing equipment or Dixon documentation before ordering.

Before servicing the spring check valve, isolate the affected section of the process system and completely relieve all internal pressure. Drain, clean, and decontaminate the valve according to the process media and facility procedures.

Disassemble the valve according to applicable Dixon instructions. Carefully remove the existing body gasket and plunger O-ring without damaging adjacent components or sealing surfaces.

Inspect the valve internals during disassembly. Check the plunger, spring, body surfaces, and other internal components for excessive wear, corrosion, contamination, product buildup, or physical damage.

Clean the appropriate sealing surfaces and install the replacement FKM components in their proper locations. Avoid cutting, twisting, pinching, overstretching, or otherwise damaging the new elastomers during installation.

Reassemble the valve according to Dixon procedures and confirm that the internal components move correctly before returning the valve to service.

After reassembly, test the valve under appropriate system conditions and inspect for leakage and proper check-valve operation.
