Construction Details

The Figure 10MFN uses a ductile iron ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 body, bonnet, and wedge. The resilient wedge incorporates Buna-N sealing material for dependable shutoff service.

The valve includes a 304 stainless steel non-rising stem, bronze ASTM B584 C83600 wedge nut, ductile iron operating nut, Buna-N O-rings and gasket, and stainless steel bonnet hardware.

A fusion-bonded epoxy coating provides added protection, while the mechanical-joint x flanged configuration allows the valve to transition between these two common waterworks connection styles.
