Titan Flow Control YS58UG-DI 5 in. 300 WOG Ductile Iron Grooved End Y-Strainer - UL/FM Approved (Fire Protection)

A reliable, high-performance Y-strainer designed with ductile iron for superior durability. It features a distinctive grooved-end design for swift and effortless installation using AWWA C606 standard couplings. This unit is specifically designed to handle working pressures up to 300 psi (WOG 300). It is epoxy painted for corrosion resistance, boasts gasketed caps for secure sealing, and comes with a plugged blow-off for easy maintenance. This Y-strainer is UL/FM approved and well-suited for fire protection applications.

General Applications: Y-strainers are installed in piping systems to remove unwanted debris from the pipeline, safeguarding downstream equipment such as pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, and turbines. The YS 58G-UL-DI can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines, as long as the screen is positioned downward. This makes it ideal for fire line applications, risers, and sprinkler systems.
