- Use Caution when soldering Whenever possible, solder with CPVC socket facing downward
- If CPVC joint is above solder joint plug temporarily with nipple and cap to prevent chimney effect
- Always apply torch to female fitting, not to the adapters
- Perform all solder joints a minimum of:10 in from 1/2 in and 3/4 in CPVC sockets 18 in from 1 in and 1-1/4 in CPVC sockets 20 in from 1-1/2 in CPVC socket 22 in from 2 in CPVC socket use a commercial heat blocking agent between solder joint and CPVC joint
